Learning to Bike

One may get preoccupied with learning a
new skill. Take, for example,
biking. One may be enamored with the
many bikes available: roadie, fixie,
commuter, fattie, mountain, BMX.
Or with pimping up its parts: frame,
fork, handlebar, wheels, pedals, saddle. Or the
other needed parts detached from the
bicycle: helmet, lights, toolkit, bell, etc.

But it is not about the bike;
it is also not about balance.

It is about the boldness to leave the sidelines,
pedaling with one's feet toward the center. Unsure,
but trusting the struggle in learning.
